The cross trainer is the go-to choice for anyone looking to improve their endurance, strengthen their leg muscles and, most notably, their glutes. But how exactly does the training work? What are the benefits of using a cross trainer for 30 minutes each day, and how long does it take to see the first visible results?/p>

Why is that?

The body adapts to new challenges by undergoing specific adjustment processes. In fitness theory, this process is referred to as 'adaptation'. This adaptation takes place particularly quickly at the beginning, when the body is not used to exercise and the new training stimuli are still ‘unfamiliar’. The muscles become more efficient, the cardiovascular system becomes more capable and movements soon appear more coordinated and stable.

Advanced exercisers, on the other hand, experience visible changes at a slower rate because their bodies are already well adapted to exercise.   • After around 2-3 weeks: Improved endurance, easier breathing during exercise and more energy in everyday life – the first cardiorespiratory adaptations will be evident
  • After around 4-6 weeks: You will see the first visible changes to your buttocks, thighs and waist. Your muscles will feel firmer and you will start to lose fat.
